Week 8, Southfield A&T hosted a 6-2 West Bloomfield team, gearing up for the playoffs in another week. Both teams have multiple players with division 1 talent, offers or commitments. The game began with both teams making big plays. '18 ATH Mathew Gilbert (Southfield A&T) had a pick 6, but '18 WR AJ Abbott had a long TD for West Bloomfield as well. West Bloomfield began to pull away with multiple unanswered TD's by the dangerous QB / WR Combo of '18 QB Bryce Veasley to '18 WR Taj Mustapha, 18 WR AJ Abbott, and '19 WR Tre Mosley. Southfield didn't go down without a fight. '18 QB John Darby and '19 ATH Saunders Carter (Southfield A&T) were a huge factor for Southfield in this game, producing 3 TD's through the air and Darby had another TD run himself. West Bloomfield did however win convincingly 62-37.
